Do you believe in a higher power? Do you believe in fate? Do you believe everything happens for a reason? Has something ever happened to you that makes you think, “this is a sign!”
On Saturday, a woman attempted to take her own life by jumping from her fifth-floor window in northern Manhattan, but, to her surprise, her life was saved when she landed on an air conditioner two floors down.
On lookers watched in awe, amazed at the power of God. “I think God just did this thing,” one witness said of the woman’s unexpected survival.
Apparently, it all went down along the side of an apartment in #MarbleHill. According to witnesses, initially, the woman tried to jump from the window but was being held by her mother, who eventually lost her grip. Once she fell, she miraculously landed on an air conditioner protruding from a third-story window.
“She was sitting there,” a witness said. “That’s where she stayed, Thank God.”
The woman’s suicide attempt was in response to the coming of Christ. She warned that God was coming back and that everyone should love each other and strive to be better.
“She was saying God loves us…and God loves everybody…and clean your house of bad things, bad energy,” a witness said of the woman’s revelation.
The woman tried to fight off the emergency crew, but eventually they were able to pull her back through the window. She was clothed and taken to #NorthCentralBronxHospital, where she will be evaluated, NY Post reports.
According to the publication, earlier that day, a 36-year-old woman was rescued from the #EastRiver after another apparent suicide attempt.
The woman jumped into the water in #Williamsburg around 6:45 a.m., #NYFD’s Marine Unit retrieved her from the water, but when she was able to break free, she jumped back into the water. After being pulled from the water, one more time, the woman jumped right back in.
The woman was taken to #WoodhullHospital for evaluation.
When God has a plan for you, no man can stop it, not even you.
