22-year-old Roxana Lopez is currently facing manslaughter charges after allegedly throwing a phone at her boyfriend during an argument.
In April 2021, Luis Dario Guantay died at the hospital after complaining of having a severe migraine. Roxana has been named the number one suspect in the murder case.
While she has yet to hear a final verdict, Roxana remains on bail as the investigation continues. However, the court expects Roxana to testify that during an argument, she picked up a mobile phone and hit Luis in the temple while she attempted to defend herself from his attacks.
Roxana has not been charged with any crime just yet. Nevertheless, her boyfriend’s mother would like for the Argentina police to take action against Roxana.
Luis ultimately passed away of his brain injuries on April 18.
