A customer at Chipotle pulled out a gun because the restaurant was closing early.
“Somebody better give me my food,” demanded a woman standing in line at Philadelphia Chipotle, police said on Wednesday. On Saturday, the incident occurred when the Chipotle location – located on Roosevelt Mall on Cottman Avenue – was about to close earlier than usual due to a lack of staff. Police say that woman’s harassment happened a little before 5 p.m.
While the in-person service was halted, customers were still able to make online orders. The woman pulls out a gun and gently waves it toward the workers behind the counter in the video.
Fearful, the associates began making her meal “in an effort to have her leave,” police say. Even after her meal was made, the woman took the gun out for a second time. Now, police are trying to find the woman’s identity, asking the public for help.
