Woman Says Boyfriend Knowingly Infected Her & Other Men And Women With HIV

We’ve been sent this story quite a few times but when it comes to allegations such as these, they can’t be taken lightly. After being provided with sufficient documents, we thought it would be best to at least shed light on the situation, in the event that it could possibly be true.

A 31 year old San Francisco woman by the name of Gizzy, says she contracted HIV from her ex-boyfriend Randy Gauthier who is now running around the country attempting to infect more young women. Recently he met a 19-year-old girl living in Miami who he allegedly infected with HIV. She later committed suicide after finding out the news. Gizzy says that people reach out to her weekly letting her know that Gauthier has approached them or they saw him at a local club and is continuing to go after both men and woman. Both Gizzy and Randy’s HIV status have been proven but unfortunately there’s not a lot Gizzy can do.

Gizzy has filed a police report citing domestic violence against Gauthier, who also happens to be a registered sex offender. Unfortunately the State of California does not have any laws against people who do not disclose their HIV status with their partner before they have sex. Some states consider it to be attempted homicide, but not all.

Because her hands are seemingly tied, Gizzy has used social media to raise awareness and warn potential victims (male and female). She’s also started a petition to help change the laws in California. You can read the petition and sign HERE.

I feel bad for Gizzy. It’s not like she had casual sex, this was her boyfriend. Someone she thought she could trust with her body and while on the outside it’s easy to say “why not get tested before having sex”, how many people actually do that? You know, you can still get STD’s with a condom on? Most people are putting unwrapped genitals in their mouth all the time. How many are truly going to the doctor before any form of sexual activity? Something like HIV is something you’d expect your loved one to make you aware of. Unfortunately this wasn’t the case for Gizzy and even worse she can’t do a thing about it.
