Woman Shot And Killed After Turning Down A Guy At A Bar

According to CBS and WTAE news, Charles McKinney, 41, approached Janese Talton-Jackson, 29, while enjoying a night out at a bar named, Cliffs in Pittsburgh. McKinney attempted to come on to Talton-Jackson while at the bar, but she declined his advances and expressed that she was not interested in McKinney. It was then that McKinney reportedly followed her outside to her car, where matters suddenly took a drastic turn and McKinney shot the mother of two in the chest.

Police later pulled McKinney over for a traffic stop, when they received a dispatch about a woman being shot in the area. When McKinney heard the report, he panicked and sped off, inciting a police chase which ended when McKinney crashed his vehicle.

He now faces charges of homicide, aggravated assault, fleeing or attempt to elude police, reckless driving, reckless endangerment, possession with intent to deliver, and possession of firearms.

The amount of senseless shootings and crime continues to rise. It needs to stop. Also, men have to understand that a woman is not entitled to accept your advances. It’s okay for her to say “No.”
