On Tuesday, an Ohio woman stood outside of her home, screaming for help, after having just stabbed her boyfriend for sexually assaulting her 12-year-old daughter.
According to the AJC, the 31-year-old said she was on her way to bed when she saw her boyfriend lying naked on top of her 12-year-old. She then grabbed her pocketknife and attacked him, prompting a struggle.
The woman told officials that after the two fought over the knife, the man grabbed her by the neck and slammed her against the wall. Somehow, the woman managed to shove him out the door, but he then kicked it down and reentered.
According to the police report, both the woman and her daughter suffered cuts to their hands from the struggle that left the man with five stab wounds to the chest and one in the back of the head. The young girl told officials that the man said, “this is what it is like in the real world when you have a boyfriend,” just before sexually assaulting her.
However, the man told officials that the woman attacked him because she thought her daughter had feelings for him.
According to reports, neither the woman nor the man has been charged, but officials are investigating it as a potential rape case.
