American Airlines staff members were the target of a woman’s frustrations at Miami International Airport this week.
On Tuesday, NBC Miami reported that 25-year-old Camila McMille screamed at an airline agent after being informed her children walked off on their own.
Investigations revealed that she demanded the gate agent find her children and then threw a computer monitor after pulling the boarding pass reader from behind the counter.
According to the reports, McMille caused $10,000 in damages and injured the agent’s shoulder during the altercation.
She was taken into custody by Customs and Border Protection officers before being arrested.
“While the subject was with the gate agent, her two minor children walked away without notice to use nearby restrooms,” said police. “Once the subject noticed the children were not with her, she became irate and began to scream, demanding the gate agent to find her children.”
