Wonder Woman’s comic book debut pulled in $1.62 million USD at an auction.
The entire Heritage Auctions brought in $24 million USD, and $1.62 million of it came from Wonder Woman’s comic book debut. The comic book is the superhero’s first appearance ever in DC Comics, which is the eighth issue of the All Star Comics, and it was published in 1941.
The book, which earned a 9.4 CGC Universal Grade rating, came from a longtime collector.
According to Hypebeast, the first issue of The Dark Knight Returns reached an auction price of $2.4 million. Two Fantastic Four #1 copies sold for $420,000 and another for $240,000. A copy of the 29th issue of Detective Comics sold for $276,000, and an issue of Amazing Spider-Man was sold for $43,200.
