Many designers have been receiving a lot of backlash for their lack of creativity when it comes to fashion. Some designers are getting carried away with the overpriced and poorly designed pieces.
In today’s WTFashion, Gucci released distressed tights for $190. Yes, you read that correctly. They are $190 a pop.
The tights were being sold on Ssense before being sold out. The site describes the tights as “stretch mesh tights in black. High-rise. Distressing throughout. Woven logo at elasticized waistband.”
Who would have thought that our old ruined church stockings could sell for almost $200? So, I guess it is safe to say that no one needs clear fingernail polish as soon as they see a ruin in their stockings. Just let them ruin all over and call them distressed.
