Legendary hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan has announced what is being described as “the start of their final tour,” titled “Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber.”
Produced by AEG, the 27-date tour kicks off June 6 in Baltimore and will make stops in Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, Houston, Chicago, Seattle, and more, before concluding July 18 in Philadelphia. The tour will feature Run the Jewels (Killer Mike & El-P) as the supporting act.
In a statement, Wu-Tang founder RZA expressed excitement about the farewell run:
“This tour is called ‘The Final Chamber.’ This is a special moment for me and all my Wu brothers to run around the globe together one more time and spread the Wu swag, music, and culture. Most importantly, to touch our fans and those who have supported us throughout the years.”
RZA also teased that the group will perform never-before-played songs and deliver a one-of-a-kind production for fans.
Tickets and VIP packages go on sale February 28 at 10 AM local time, with no pre-sales. Fans can join the Wu queue online, which will open 30 minutes before the sale begins.
Ahead of the tour, Wu-Tang Clan and Amazon Music will release an exclusive live EP on February 26, featuring recordings from their 2023 “NY State of Mind” tour. The EP will be available for streaming on Amazon Music and limited to 1,500 vinyl copies.
