Wyclef Jean has been ordered to fork over more than $450,000 to officially settle the longstanding legal battle over a Florida foreclosure.
According to the @blast, the final judgment came just 10 years after Wyclef was initially sued for defaulting on the mortgage of his Miami home. In the wake of the suit, a judge ordered the home to be sold off at an auction. He also slapped the rapper with a $2.4 million judgment.
Eventually, the home was sold for $1.6 million, leaving an $824,000 deficiency owed by the rapper. At the time, Wyclef settled the dispute with one of the plaintiffs in the suit, agreeing to cough up $350,000 in monthly installments until the balance was paid off. However, according to the publication, the rapper never made a payment.

As a result, the plaintiff took the issue back to the court, demanding Wyclef fork over the $350,000 he owed, plus interest. In the end, the judge ruled in favor of the plaintiff and forced the rapper to pay the entire unpaid amount, plus tax, which totaled $484,554.90.
