A year after XXXTentacion’s death, his estranged father wants to be included in the decision making about his son’s music, business, and money.
According to documents obtained by The Blast, Dwayne Onfroy wants the courts to know that he wants to make an appearance and to be notified on future proceedings.
Onfroy didn’t mention why he just now wants to be included, considering he wasn’t apart of his son’s life growing up.
The rapper has stated on several occasions that his grandmother raised him, but his mother did come around. After the death of XXXTentacion, his father spoke out, saying that he was in jail for the majority of his son’s life. He denied ever intentionally abandoning his son.
Before the passing of XXX, he drafted up a will appointing his mother, Cleopatra Bernard, as the personal representative of his estate. She’s in charge of all business decisions regarding her son.
