One of Four Suspects in XXXTentacion’s Murder Accepts Plea Deal, Plans to Testify Against Three Other Defendants

A plea deal has been reached by one of the four suspects accused of killing XXXTentacion in 2018, and he will testify against the other three defendants.
On Friday, Robert Allen entered a guilty plea to the lesser charges of second-degree murder and armed robbery.
Allen’s attorney, Jim Lewis, said, “Mr. Allen’s role in this was much less than the other three.” He told NBC, “More of an accessory after the fact than really part of the planning. Certainly, he never got out of the car, never had a gun, never shot anybody.”
According to Lewis, Allen struck the plea deal hoping to get a better sentence than life behind bars. He will be sentenced on Feb. 23, 2023.
On June 18, 2018, XXXTentacion, real name Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, was shot and killed outside RIVA Motorsports in Florida.
Michael Boatwright, Dedrick Williams, and Trayvon Newsome face first-degree murder and armed robbery charges.
In 2020, XXXTentacion’s father, Dwayne Onfroy, posted an Instagram story saying Boatwright should be executed and Williams, Newsome, and Allen should be sentenced to life without parole.
