Xzibit and his wife are the latest celebrity couple to call it quits. The rapper’s wife filed for divorce after more than 6 years of marriage. The two have been together for over 20 years, having met in 2001 while Xzibit was on tour.
The Blast obtained court documents filed by Krista Joiner in Los Angeles Superior Court against Xzibit (real name Alvin Joiner).
It is not immediately clear if Krista is asking for spousal or child support. The couple share 10-year-old Gatlyn. The couple had two children together, Xavier and Gatlyn. Xavier was born prematurely and tragically passed away in 2008.
It is also unclear if there is a prenuptial agreement in place between the couple.
The two wed in 2014, and Xzibit was famously arrested for driving under the influence following their reception at the St. Regis Monarch Beach in Laguna Beach, California.
