Xzibit’s Estranged Wife Is Requesting An Additional $230,000 To Cover Her Legal Fees

Xzibit’s estranged wife, Krista Joiner, has requested an additional $230,000 from him to assist in covering her legal expenses and other costs while their divorce case is ongoing.

Based on court records, Joiner alleges that Xzibit possesses adequate financial resources to cover her expenses amounting to $230,000. She cited his various sources of income, including his prosperous cannabis enterprise, to support her claim. Joiner also criticized the sale of their $579,000 property and estimated the value of Xzibit’s jewelry collection to be an astonishing $845,000. She went so far as to suggest that he sell his 2018 Rezvani Jeep, which costs $350,000.

To make things worse, Joiner claimed Xzibit has purportedly made no effort to communicate with their son since October 2022.

“I believe the last time he actually saw Gatlyn was around [Xzibit’s] own birthday in September 2022,” the documents read. “Gatlyn called [Xzibit] on Christmas and [Xzibit] refused to answer or call him back. Our son is devastated.”

In 2021, Joiner filed for divorce from Xzibit, ending their seven-year marriage. The couple had been in a relationship since 2001 and had two children, although one tragically passed away only 11 days after birth.

She further elaborated to the court that she has fallen behind on her legal fees and requires financial aid as she is presently jobless and seeking employment. In addition, she emphasized that she has to allocate a significant amount of her time to their ongoing divorce proceedings and taking care of their child.

At the beginning of this year, the court granted Joiner $6,000 in child support and monthly spousal support payments from Xzibit for their ten-year-old son, Gatlyn.

In February, Joiner requested an augmentation in the monthly support amount to $14,000.
