Ye, formerly Kanye West, just flipped the script and says he’s done dissing Drake.
After going on one of his classic X rants, Ye is now giving Drake his full support, calling his lawsuit against Universal Music Group “the biggest victory in music history.”
“I’m so happy right now, you don’t understand with this UMG, Drake, Kendrick situation, Super Bowl, Grammys,” Ye’ said in the video. “This shit was driving me, and you know where it should be driving me, but this is the biggest victory in music history, right here.”
“I have to show Drake love for going at the machine,” Ye said in a new video.

“This is a very important moment in music history,” Ye said referring to Drake’s 107-page amended complaint filed earlier this week. “For some reason I felt like I was on Drake’s side concerning this situation. Now here’s over 100 pages to show why.”
This is a big switch-up from just weeks ago when Ye was throwing shots at Drake on his version of the “Like That” remix.
But now? He’s done with the beef. “I’m never finna call Drake out of his name. I’m Team Drake 100 percent,” Ye said. “And Team Kendrick and Team all of us. Like, Kendrick need to be going at UMG, at this point. This is what I said in my version of ‘Like That.’”
Looks like Ye wants artist to unite and focus on the real fight: the labels.
