Thursday, Yeezy GAP launched its collection at the Gap’s Times Square flagship store.
This is the first time Yeezy Gap engineered by Balenciaga has been available to be purchased in person. A promo video released Wednesday on a new Yeezy Instagram account showcased a mountain of clothes very similar to what buyers can purchase during the pop-up.

Thursday morning in-store photos of piles of clothing swarmed Twitter as fans poured in to get their hands on items from the collection.
According to sources, Ye and Balenciaga’s creative director share an interest in thoughts, style and ideas. They came together with the help of Betsy Johnson to create the promo video that that not only featured the mountain of clothing, but also showcased characters dressed how we’ve seen Kanye in the past few months.
The design of the store has been described as, “reengineered and distilled to its most essential form, a utilitarian design.”
The words, “minimalist” and “monochromatic” has also been used.
