You ever heard of that saying, a mother will do anything for her child, well, YNW Melly’s mom has set the bar after throwing her incarcerated son a party outside the Florida jail where he’s currently detained.
According to Complex, the rapper’s mother was seen on a video celebrating her son’s birthday at a building across the street from the Broward County jail. Also in that video were dancers donning masks that read “Free YNW Melly” while performing—twerking to Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s hit song “WAP.”
And to keep the stripper vibe going, his mother, girlfriend, and friends threw money on the dancers with luxury cars appearing in the background. Apparently, the rapper could see the celebration from his cell.
“Going viral right now….happy birthday ynwmelly somebody leaked the footage so f*** it it’s out now,” a stripper attending the event said on Instagram, adding that Melly had turned 21 back in May, but the event was 6 months behind because it was actually celebrating “the birth of his alter ego.”
The rapper is awaiting his trial in connection to the double-murder of Anthony Williams and Christopher Thomas, Jr. Back in April, the rapper tested positive for the Coronavirus but for the second time has been denied house arrest.
