Which Baller’s make the most money? Upon doing some research and asking around It’s safe to say that in the United States, although it seems like the NFL ballers are banking, it is actually the Major League Baseball players who are making out with all the dough. “Why is that” you ask. Well, the NFL as a league makes a great deal of their revenue from television networks that air the games. With that being said, the players themselves aren’t seeing a dime of that. Baseball players on the other hand aren’t broadcasted on as many channels, seemingly play less and their salaries aren’t capped — allowing them to make more money. It may take them a little longer to make the money, but they definitely make it. So with the lockout in place, there’s no reason to fear going “baller-less”, just find a baseball player.
Just this year Alex Rodriguez brought in $32M in earnings and ecause show boating and balling is frowned upon in baseball, you probably had no idea. Your average baseball player isn’t out hosting parties at the club, he’s rarely partying with the Kardashian’s and most times, if he’s not married with kids, he’s at the batting cages working on his swing. Isn’t this the kind of man you want anyway? I mean, so what you don’t know much about the game, just watch the post season like we do with other sports anyway.
Allow me to make your job a little easier. Here are a few HOT baseball players and their salaries:
Derek Jeter – NY Yankees – $15M in 2011
Manny Ramirez (Retired but he’s still hot & made over $204M playing baseball)
Jason Heyword – Atlanta Braves – only makes $496K but he’s only been playing for a year!
Carlos Delgado – NY Mets – $16M in 2011
Alfonso Soriano – Chicago Cubs – $18M this year
Alex Rios – Chicago White Sox – $12.5M this year
Alex Rodriguez – NY Yankees – $32M this year
