After hinting at possible retirement on social media earlier this week, rapper Young Dolph is officially stepping away from the rap game. Details regarding when Dolph will actually stop rapping are unclear at this time.
Previously taking to his IG story, Young Dolph stated, “highly considering quitting music because I really wanna be with my kids, 24/7.” Later confirmed by Complex, the rapper has decided to focus on his family instead of music. In response to the article, Dolph said, “I’m done doing music so I can go kick it with my son.”
Dolph, 34, has been in the rap game for a decade and is allowing his protege Key Glock takeover his “empire.” Other artists like Jay Fizzle and Big Moochie Grape will also continue to share music under Dolph’s label. While Dolph has announced his retirement, he is still promoting his previous releases and even teamed up with Key Glock yesterday for the visual release of “1 Hell Of A Life.”
