Rapper Young Dolph is being sued by a former sergeant of the National Guard after she was fired for twerking in a video that went viral when the rapper reposted it on his social media account.
According to AllHipHop, Akeisha Norris had a mental breakdown after she was let go from her job for twerking in a video that went viral. Norris claims to know Dolph personally. She says that the rapper used her image and likeness without her consent and to help himself financially.
“Norris was called before her superior officers and disciplined, leading to a mental breakdown. As a result, she was sent back to the United States and dismissed from the military,” according to attorney Keith Altman, who spoke with the publication.
She is suing the rapper for losing her job, humiliation, mental anguish, and punitive damages.
