On Friday, Young Thug made a heartfelt public plea aimed at some of the biggest names in music, who happen to be his friends.
Taking to Twitter, the Atlanta rapper urged Drake, Future, and Metro Boomin to put aside their differences and reunite in the spirit of collaboration. The rift, brought to light back in March with the track “Like That,” has affected not only hip-hop but also their long-running friendships.
“We all bruddas,” he wrote, tagging each of them. “Music ain’t the same without us collabin.”

Drake, Future, Thug, and Metro Boomin have been central figures in shaping the modern hip-hop landscape. From chart-topping hits to iconic albums, their combined talents have led to some of the most memorable moments in recent music history. Drake and Future released “What a Time to Be Alive,”
a joint tape back in 2015. Future and Thug also had a similar run with their 2017 “Super Slimey.” Metro Boomin’ has produced countless tracks for all three of these frequent collaborators. However, the ongoing feud has created tension, leaving a void that fans and artists alike are eager to see filled.
Thug’s call for peace arrives as he continues fighting his RICO case, which could put him in prison for decades. His three pals have shown support for him separately, though Future and Metro have not been spotted with Drake in quite some time, as they have both voiced disdain for the Toronto star.
