Young Thug stirred the pot late Thursday night with a now-deleted tweet aimed at Kid Cudi.
The Atlanta rapper took to X and wrote, “Dam cudi a rat lol,” seemingly reacting to Cudi’s testimony in the ongoing Diddy trial in New York.
Though the post disappeared almost as fast as it went up, it was enough to set social media on fire.
As you know, Cudi testified that Diddy once broke into his home and traumatized his dog. He also recounted the 2012 incident where his Porsche was mysteriously torched, an act many believe ties back to Diddy.
Young Thug’s reaction adds fuel to the ongoing debate about snitch culture and what counts as “cooperating” when you’re not part of the streets.
Cudi, by all accounts, isn’t a street rapper and doesn’t follow those codes. Still, Thugger’s post seemed to paint any testimony as betrayal, something he’s been vocal about since his own legal issues and his very public fallout with Gunna.
No one knows if Thug deleted the tweet because of label pressure, legal reasons, or just second thoughts.
Some fans are defending Cudi for speaking up, while others are siding with Thug’s street-code stance.
This moment puts a spotlight not just on the Diddy trial, but on how the rap community continues to struggle with the blurred lines between personal truth, legal cooperation, and loyalty.
