During what appeared to be a listening session for Lil Baby’s upcoming album The Leak$, an unreleased track featuring Thug surfaced online. In the snippet, Thug delivers one of his most direct shots at Gunna since his release from jail last year. The lyric in question? “Only reason I f***ed with you, Gunna, it was ’cause of Troup” — a nod to the late Keith B. Troup, a mentor to both artists before his tragic murder in 2015.

The bar makes it clear that Thug’s loyalty to Gunna was rooted more in respect for Troup than in their personal bond. Fans immediately connected the dots to the strained relationship between the two, which began unraveling during Thug’s highly publicized legal battle.

While Gunna has repeatedly denied any form of cooperation with authorities, speculation about his role in the YSL case has lingered. His former attorney, Steve Sadow, even confirmed that no deal was made in exchange for testimony. Still, Thug has hinted in the past that Gunna broke the street code, and this lyric feels like another chapter in that ongoing narrative.

The big question now — will this track make it onto Lil Baby’s album? And if it does, could it be the nail in the coffin for any future Young Thug and Gunna collaborations? The rap world is watching closely.
