In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Atlanta rapper Young Thug was asked about becoming a billionaire.
Specifically, he was asked by Rolling Stone journalist Jeff Ihaza if he has plans to embody the entrepreneurial lifestyle of the ultra-rich Kanye West and Jay-Z; Thug didn’t even hesitate.
“Yeah, I want to be the richest Black man in the world,” he said.
And Young Thug is already well on his way. Outside of a successful music career and budding label, he is set to making his acting debut and is hard at work on his clothing line. He told the outlet he has big plans for when the world opens back up.
Thugger also announced the release of his latest project, titled Punk. It is set to be released on October 15. He previewed four new songs during his NPR Tiny Desk (Home) Concert. The rapper performed backed by a live band featuring drummer Travis Barker.
