Young Thug’s father isn’t satisfied with the unequal treatment concerning his son and Donald Trump.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, Jeffrey Williams Sr., the rapper’s father, hinted that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is adopting a contradictory stance. The post displays an image of Thug’s father wearing a “FREE YSL” t-shirt and holding a sign that reads: “Trump & Crew got a bond, Young Thug & YSL face the exact same charges but no bond? Make justice fair!! We deserve a fair fight too, Fani.”
This sentiment caused a rift among fans who shared their opinion that the rapper’s transgressions were more severe than those of Trump, who has recently faced charges of involvement in a comprehensive unlawful effort to overturn the outcome of the 2020 election.
“There’s no bodies involved, big difference,” wrote one Instagram user with another adding, “Trump did nun thug killed hella n-ggas, n-ggas do anything but take accountability for their own actions smh.”
On another note, Young Thug’s trial has encountered a fresh obstacle. On Friday, it was revealed that the YSL RICO trial has been temporarily suspended. This pause is attributed to the ongoing trial of another defendant in an unrelated murder case, Cordarius Dorsey. According to reports from Cathy Russon of the Law&Crime Network, all YSL-related legal proceedings, including hearings and jury selections, will be postponed until the end of the following week due to Dorsey’s ongoing murder trial.
