Young Thug’s Father Speaks on Lil Baby Dissing Gunna: “He Needs To Shut The F**k Up” [Video]

Young Thug’s father is questioning why Lil Baby feels so strongly about Gunna when he has not been there for his former mentor.

Jeffery Williams Sr. sat down with vlogger Infamous Sylvia recently, who asked him how he felt about Baby dissing Gunna for allegedly snitching on Thug. However, Jeffery Sr. says he is not impressed with Baby’s supposed allyship.

“He needs to shut the f**k up because he don’t know what’s going on. You know, he’s going off of what he heard,” Jeffery Sr. told Sylvia.

In December 2022, Gunna was released from jail after taking an Alford plea, which allows a defendant to plead innocent but effectively accept a guilty outcome, 11 Alive explained at the time. Gunna maintained his innocence and has since stated that he did not agree to testify in the trial and did not make any incriminating statements about Thug. However, after the plea, several of Gunna’s rap colleagues have distanced themselves from him. Lil Durk, Meek Mill, and Quavo have all shown support for Thug. Baby took things a step further during a recent show when he demanded his DJ turn off his and Gunna’s hit record, “Drip Too Hard,” telling the crowd, “f**k the rats.” However, Jeffery Sr. suggests this may be performative.

“Ask Lil Baby has he ever came to a court date. That’s what I want y’all to ask these godd**n rappers and these bloggers with this whole ‘snitch’ s**t. When have y’all went to a court date to support Slime, to support Jeffery, to support Thug, however you wanna name him?” he stated before adding, “Everybody that hasn’t been there needs to shut the f**k up about Gunna.”

Thug is currently facing decades behind bars in the controversial RICO trial.
