Young Thug’s attorney, Brian Steel, fulfilled his promise by filing an appeal for a case dismissal on December 18.
“[Steel] is trying to expedite the appeal so it will be heard at the same time as the trial,” reported @ThuggerDaily on Twitter. “If the judge’s decision is overturned, the case would end,” they explained.
Earlier this month, the YSL Rico proceedings were put on hold until the new year after a co-defendant was stabbed in jail.
Thug and his legal team are awaiting a decision on whether the court will hear their case appeal after it has been submitted.
Young Thug’s appeal case for his “motion to dismiss” has officially been opened, as of today.
Next major step is getting the appeals court to agree to hear it. https://t.co/dihc2inypN pic.twitter.com/kD4eK7LQKk
