Former Love and Hip Hop star, rapper, and super-producer Yung Berg has been accused of pistol-whipping his girlfriend, sending her to the hospital with a broken nose.
According to a police report obtained by @blast, the incident occurred at a private residence in LA around 5 am on Saturday. During the incident, Berg and his girlfriend “became involved in a verbal dispute. The suspect pistol-whipped victim (numerous times) resulting in verifiable injuries,” the police report read.
The woman then reported the incident to the LAPD, who then classified the report as “intimate partner violence,” according to the publication.
The woman was hospitalized on March 14 and eventually diagnosed with a “closed head injury, closed fracture of the nasal bone and facial lacerations.”
The LAPD then issued an emergency protective order, prohibiting Berg from coming 100 yards of the alleged victim. He’s also been ordered to stay away from her home and not to contact her directly or indirectly.
According to The Blast, the order will last until March 20, and the woman will be forced to refile if she feels the need to extend. In the meantime, the incident is under investigation. However, it remains unclear if Berg will be arrested or brought in for questioning.
