It looks like Jeezy recently made amends with Yung Joc after calling him out in a recent song, but not everyone is happy about it.
During a taping this week of “Streetz Morning Takeover” (@streetzmorningtakeover), host Mz Shyneka called out the Snoman for coming to the show after knowingly taking a dig at Joc. The apparent shade happened on Jizzle’s 2022 track, “Big Sno,” from his DJ Drama-hosted mixtape, “Snofall.”
“Compare me to Pac, n***a, compare them to Joc, n***a. The day I don’t wake up, the day that I flop, n***a,” Jeezy rapped on the song, suggesting that Joc is not on the same level as him.
After Jeezy recently did an interview on the show, it appears he wanted to clear the air about the record. Shyneka revealed on-air that he did this privately with Joc during a phone call, though she believed it should have been a public apology.
“Jeezy is on the list of people who came up here, did a whole interview, knew he said something about you in a song…and tried to play like everything was cool. But then, the guilt of being in the room and having cool vibes and a great interview propelled him to call you and to apologize,” she stated.
While Joc acknowledged it happened, he was not upset with Jeezy. Instead, he believes his fellow Atlanta rapper being mature enough to call him said a lot about his character, even if Shyneka feels it was not enough.
“Well, here’s the thing, this is what I’ve learned…I don’t judge people, but I do move on your character and your integrity and that energy. And for him to do that, it said a lot,” Joc shared.
Jeezy has neither commented on his and Joc’s conversation nor responded to Shyneka’s remarks.
