Yung Joc let the public in on what sounds like the breaking point.
On Sunday, the rapper/reality TV star went public with his decision to step away from his marriage to Kendra Robinson, opening up in a series of Instagram posts.
His words pointed to years of emotional strain, lack of trust, and feeling taken for granted.
“I hate how strangers can just send sh*t to my wife and she instantly sides with them,” he wrote. “I’ve been one of the most consistent ppl you will ever meet and I’m at a point where I’m just done. No, I don’t want a celebration for walking away.”
In another post, he expressed feeling unappreciated and emotionally worn out. “Maybe I should just move to another country,” he said. “Maybe I’m not as valued as I think I should be. I tried to give you my all and you don’t see the true King in me. I pray you find happiness elsewhere.”
Joc and Kendra have been together since 2015 and married in 2021. Their relationship played out on Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, where they often appeared united on screen. Behind the scenes, however, rumors of infidelity and emotional distance followed them, especially in recent years.
He ended his posts by announcing a break from social media. “Never allow ppl to belittle you… apologize for the belittling… then turn around and stand on the belittling,” he wrote. “I will be logging off and taking time to reflect on my decisions.”
Joc also left a personal note to Kendra, saying, “I am grateful for the countless memories. Social media is not the place for these conversations, but television isn’t either. Please understand if I don’t respond to calls or texts.”
Although the post has since been deleted, his message was loud and clear.
As of now, the couple has not confirmed a legal divorce, but it’s clear the marriage is over.
