According to TMZ Sports, Ex-NFL running back Zac Stacy faces five additional criminal charges, arising from an alleged attack on his ex-girlfriend Kristin Evans back in August.
Court documents show Stacy was charged with three misdemeanor domestic violence battery charges, as well as two minor criminal mischief charges.
The court documents don’t expressly state the charges against Stacy. Still, Evans previously claimed he flew into a violent rage over rent money as alleged in a restraining order application in Florida.
“He physically assaulted me several times because he wanted the money back he gave me for our rent,” Evans wrote in the application.
“He punched my legs, slapped me, picked me up by my arms, and threw me into my window, which broke. I had glass in my feet that I removed myself.”
According to TMZ, Evans showed them images of the injuries she sustained during the alleged attack, including large bruises and cuts all over her body.
Stacy is scheduled to appear in court in Orange County, Florida, next month to face the new charges against him.
