Zoe Kravitz has officially been cast as Catwoman in “The Batman.”
Model and “Big Little Lies” actress has been cast as antihero Selina Kyle, whose alter-ego is #Catwoman in the upcoming film “The Batman.” Kravitz will be star opposite of Robert Pattison, who will be playing Batman.
Warner Bros. and DC comics will produce the film, and according to Variety, filming is expected to begin sometime in late 2019 or 2020. Meanwhile, “The Batman” is scheduled to hit theaters on June 25, 2021.
Matt Reeves will act as the director of the film. Reeves previously gave the world the last two “Planet of the Apes” and took over directing from Ben Affleck for the film “Batman” back in January 2017.
Kravitz just finished up her second season of HBO’s “Big Little Lies.” She also has the Hulu series “High Fidelity” coming out later this year. She is repped by Paradigm.
