Zoom’s desktop application now has raise-hand and thumbs-up gesture recognition. If you want to raise your hand or give a thumbs-up, all you’ll have to do is just that.
For those who work from home or communicate virtually from the office, Zoom has been keeping us all connected virtually. Things will be a bit more realistic as the company’s desktop app will allow people to see when a person raises their hand or gives a thumbs up on during a Zoom call following the application’s latest update for desktops.
The gesture recognition for thumbs-up and raise-hand was already a feature on Zoom’s iPad and iPhone apps since last Summer, The Verge reports. And on desktops, if a person wanted to raise their hand, they could select the thumbs-up and raise-hand icons at the bottom of Zoom’s application during a call.
In addition, Zoom has added Zoom Whiteboard, a new feature that allows people to work together virtually on projects via a digital canvas. Zoom White includes connectors, images, sticky notes and messages for people to merge their ideas, PCMag reports.
