Former MSNBC president Rashida Jones is heading back into the executive spotlight with a new media role.
Jones has been named CEO of Piers Morgan’s media company Uncensored. The announcement came on Monday as the company also revealed a new capital agreement with Raine Ventures, Antenna Group, and additional investors, including the Reuben Brothers. The investment is expected to support the company’s plan to grow its digital footprint and expand programming across multiple formats.
Uncensored currently operates its flagship show, Piers Morgan Uncensored. According to a company release, the goal is to grow the platform into a “multi-genre and talent-driven digital network,” bringing in new hosts and original programming designed for global digital audiences.
The company has already started expanding its lineup. One of its newest projects is History Uncensored, hosted by former CNN anchor Bianca Nobilo. The program focuses on major historical events and figures while presenting them through modern commentary and analysis.
Uncensored has also secured a licensing agreement with the United Kingdom’s Channel 5 to syndicate Piers Morgan Uncensored on over-the-air television, extending the show’s reach beyond streaming platforms.
Jones brings significant leadership experience from her time at MSNBC, where she served as president from 2020 to 2025. She oversaw the network during a period of intense political coverage and internal transition.
Her exit came as MSNBC prepared to separate from Comcast. The network has since been rebranded as MS NOW and spun off alongside other former Comcast cable channels into a new media company called Versant.
Joe Ravitch, partner and co-founder of The Raine Group, will also serve on the company’s board.
