Remy Ma Appears to Address Papoose Ghostwriting Allegations: “The Nerve of N***as”

Remy Ma used her new track “WYFL” to directly deny claims from Papoose that he wrote her music, while also delivering lyrics that quickly sparked chatter about possible disses toward Claressa Shields.

The record arrived with no warning, but the message was clear from the first pointed bar addressing ghostwriting.

“The nerve of n***as claiming that they wrote those hits when they whole career they ain’t never ghost wrote s**t,” Remy raps, rejecting the idea that her catalog came from anyone else’s pen. The line lands as a direct response to a narrative that has followed their relationship for years, now being addressed in her own words and on her own platform.

At the same time, another set of lyrics shifted attention beyond just Papoose.

“In competition w/ herself, I don’t know that b***h. Hoes be doing the most over so-so dick,” she delivers, a line that immediately triggered online reactions and speculation.

While no name is mentioned, listeners quickly connected it to recent public spats involving Shields.

Remy adds another line that keeps the tone consistent.

“Wanna be a baddie but you not bad enough.”

Taken together, the track functions as both a denial and a statement. One part addresses a long-standing claim directly, while the other leaves just enough room for interpretation to keep conversation active.

Neither Papoose nor Claressa Shields has publicly responded to the lyrics as of now.
