Stefon Diggs is hitting back after a celebrity stylist publicly accused him of drugging, sexually assaulting, and plotting to have him killed.
The Patriots wide receiver denies the allegations entirely and has filed a defamation lawsuit to defend his reputation.
The legal action, filed on October 1, targets 31-year-old Christopher Blake Griffith.
According to Diggs, the claims stem from an alleged visit to his Rockville, Maryland home in May 2023. He says after attending a charity basketball game in Washington, D.C., Diggs, Griffith, and other guests went to a local club before returning to Diggs’ home. Diggs says he went to his bedroom while his assistant asked Griffith to leave, ending the evening without incident.
Over two years later, in the summer of 2025, Griffith shared claims online accusing Diggs of assault and even plotting violence to cover up “gay/bisexual secrets.”
Diggs says Griffith posted the allegations to his tens of thousands of followers and tagged the NFL, the Patriots, and Uggs, a brand Diggs works with, further spreading the false narrative.
In his lawsuit, Diggs says Griffith knowingly published lies to gain attention and damage his reputation. The Patriots star is seeking damages and attorneys’ fees, though the exact amount has not been made public.
Griffith’s lawyer, Jake Lebowitz, responded, saying, “Mr. Griffith is looking forward to showing the world in Court that regardless of the fairy tale fabricated by Mr. Diggs’ high-priced New York lawyers, he is the victim of Mr. Diggs’ unwanted sexual advances and his brother’s violent attacks.”
