Newly released federal documents are drawing attention after the Justice Department published FBI interview summaries connected to allegations involving Donald Trump and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The Justice Department posted three FBI interview reports, known as FBI 302 summaries, that document statements from a woman who alleged Trump assaulted her when she was a teenager after she was introduced to him by Epstein. The interviews with investigators were conducted in 2019.
According to the documents, the woman told agents Epstein brought her to either New York or New Jersey when she was between 13 and 15 years old. She said Epstein introduced her to Trump inside what she described as a very tall building with large rooms.
The woman told investigators Trump “didn’t like that I was a boy-girl,” which agents interpreted to mean she appeared more like a tomboy at the time.
According to the FBI summary, Trump allegedly asked others in the room to leave before saying something to the effect of, “Let me teach you how little girls are supposed to be.” The woman then described an encounter that involved sexual conduct, which she said became violent after she resisted.
Parts of the account in the documents contain graphic allegations that have been redacted or are being withheld in many public summaries because of their explicit nature.
Trump has denied any wrongdoing related to Epstein and has not been charged
