Big Tigger is now speaking for himself after days of online speculation, police reports, and public debate surrounding the Big Tigger allegations involving his wife, Alicia Brown.
On Friday, June 12, the longtime radio personality returned to Atlanta’s V-103 on “The Big Tigger Morning Show,” where he directly denied the accusations circulating online. According to Atlanta Black Star, Tigger told listeners, “I want to say categorically that these accusations and allegations that have been circulating about me are false.” He also addressed his co-host Francesca Amiker, saying, “Francesca and I have never been more than friends and respected colleagues. I hope you accept my apology Francesca for these last few days.”
His comments came after Alicia released a new statement through media personality Loren LoRosa, pushing back on how social media has framed her words. Alicia wrote, “I want to be clear: I have never called my husband an abuser. Social media has drawn its own conclusions from information that was shared, but those conclusions are not statements I have made.”

Alicia also said she respects the legal process and believes law enforcement should be allowed to do its job without interference. Still, she acknowledged the public noise around the situation, saying she remains confident that “the facts will speak for themselves in due time.” She did not offer new details about what led to her statement, but she said she loves her family, stands by her character and integrity, and plans to follow the guidance of legal counsel.
The controversy began after Alicia shared posts online showing facial injuries and writing, “Someone ask my husband why my face happened.” Reports also noted that she referenced Amiker, who recently joined “The Big Tigger Morning Show” as co-host on V-103. Audacy announced Amiker’s addition in April, with her role beginning May 11.
TMZ later reported that police documents identified Big Tigger, whose real name is Darian Morgan, as the suspect in a domestic dispute investigation connected to a May incident involving Brown. The outlet reported that Brown sought medical treatment before police were contacted, that her injuries were not considered life-threatening, and that the documents did not reveal what caused the injuries. TMZ also reported it was unclear whether any arrest was made or charges were filed.
For now, Alicia says she never called him an abuser. Big Tigger says the allegations are false. And with law enforcement still part of the picture, the internet may be loud, but the paper trail is what matters next.
