India’s most ambitious concert booking of the year is officially dead in the water. Organizers White Fox confirmed Friday that Ye’s May 23 show at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi has been canceled, following security advisories issued by Indian government and law enforcement authorities. TMZ reports that Indian officials raised concerns about potential terrorism threats in and around the capital.
White Fox released a statement on Instagram expressing regret over the decision: “We are deeply disheartened to announce that Ye live in India, scheduled for May 2026 in New Delhi, has been officially cancelled following security advisories and directives issued by the concerned government and law enforcement authorities amid the current high-alert situation in the capital.”
The organizers added: “After months of planning and preparation for what was set to become one of the largest live productions ever attempted in India, the safety and well-being of attendees and the citizens of India remains the highest priority.”
This marks the second cancellation of the show — it was originally scheduled for March 29, 2026, but was delayed due to geopolitical tensions and wider regional concerns. Ticketholders will receive full refunds, and a source told TMZ the concert is being rescheduled for October.
The New Delhi collapse is the latest chapter in a turbulent year of touring for the artist formerly known as Kanye West. Following the UK government barring his entry and the cancellation of London’s Wireless Festival, shows in Poland and Switzerland were also scrapped. Amid the fallout, Ye published a full-page apology in the Wall Street Journal in January 2026, visited a Jewish human rights organization, and publicly stated he accepts full responsibility for his prior antisemitic remarks. Still, a promoter in Albania is pressing ahead with a show, planning to build a temporary 60,000-seat venue for the performance.
