The Baller Alert Show, featuring your lifestyle specialist Kenny Burns, with Ferrari Simmons and Su Solo, kicked off its 72nd episode with a recap of the hottest topics and current events from the previous week.
In case you missed it, the hosts discussed the most recent tragedy in Virginia Beach, in which a disgruntled employee opened fire on former co-workers in a government building. While the three expressed their sincerest condolences, Burns also highlighted the importance of mental health awareness. The host also sent their condolences to the original ‘American Gangster,’ Frank Lucas, who died at 88.
As the hosts continued, they opened up about Megan thee Stallion and her initiative to help save the planet, Summer Jam, and the good and bad surrounding the New Jersey concert, and finally, Marsai Martin, who’s set to executive produce her next film. #BlackGirlMagic.
Just before the hosts wrapped the segment, they reflected on the tragic and triumph of “When They See Us,” by Ava DuVernay.
In the next segment, Simmons shared this week’s Baller Mail, which touched on the topic of unknown friends of your partner, specifically of the opposite sex. From there, Su shared the comment creeping, featuring Marlon Wayans, who clapped back at a homophobic fan.
Finally, Kenfucious opened up about living in fear.
