Slim Jxmmi brought his usual high energy to DDG’s Hit-A-Thon 2 stream, but the surprise appearance did not last very long.

Clips circulating from the livestream show the Rae Sremmurd rapper inside the Atlanta house dancing and performing along to his music as DDG, YK Osiris, OMB Peezy and others watched nearby. In another part of the footage, security approaches Jxmmi and tells him he has to leave before escorting him from the area.
What the footage does not clearly establish is why Jxmmi was removed. Social media users have interpreted DDG, YK Osiris and OMB Peezy’s reactions as a sign that they were not feeling the rapper’s energy.
The moment happened during DDG’s second Hit-A-Thon, which has turned an Atlanta mansion into a round-the-clock studio and livestream set. The event began September 14 and was scheduled to run through September 21, with DDG recording music in front of viewers while artists, producers, and internet personalities move in and out of the house.
The setup has been intentionally unpredictable. Guests during the week included T.I., Kai Cenat, Zaytoven, 42 Dugg, Boston Richey, DreamDoll, OMB Peezy, and others.
Jxmmi is far from an unfamiliar name in hip-hop. He and his brother Swae Lee make up Rae Sremmurd, the Mississippi-rooted duo behind records including “No Flex Zone,” “No Type,” “Swang,” and “Come Get Her.” Their Gucci Mane-assisted “Black Beatles” became Rae Sremmurd’s first No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 after exploding alongside the viral Mannequin Challenge in 2016.
Jxmmi has also built a reputation for bringing plenty of movement to live performances. In recent years, Rae Sremmurd’s 2023 Rolling Loud Miami set was an energetic performance where Jxmmi moved across the barricade while he and Swae Lee ran through some of the duo’s biggest songs.
For now, the Hit-A-Thon 2 incident leaves more questions than answers. The video confirms Jxmmi’s unexpected performance and security directing him out, but without an explanation from Jxmmi, DDG, or the people running the house, anything beyond what is visible in the footage remains speculation.
