2 Chainz Says Busted Pipes Led To The Discovery Of His Late Father’s Stash Of Money [Video]

Rapper and businessman 2 Chainz thanks a busted pipe for discovering a stash of money that his late father hid away.

2 Chainz posted on his Instagram stories rolled up bills that were found by workers who were on the property to fix the broken pipe.

“Quick story,” Chainz said in a clip captioned “RIP POPS.”

“I had a busted pipe in the basement. They fixed my basement, and then they found, um, I guess it’s my pops’ old stash,” he said regarding his father, who passed in 2012.

Following his father’s death, 2 Chainz has discussed their relationship, saying, “Father-and-son relationships, it’s a lot of masculinity,” he said at the time. “You’re taught to be strong. You’re taught to fight back. You’re taught not to cry. … Losing him, I definitely lost somebody that I could trust, confide in, and communicate with about a lot of different things and talk to. But even that experience of losing him made me stronger.”
