A 10-part, 20 hour documentary is heading to the ESPN app, featuring a slew of current superstars like LeBron James and Kevin Durant, as well as NBA greats like Magic Johnson, Oscar Robertson and Bill Russell.

According to ESPN, the series, titled ‘Basketball: A Love Story,’ compiles 62 short stories, with over 500 hours of interviews from legends of the past and future. Created by Dan Klores, the documentary will air on the app on the 18th, and in five installments on ESPN on Oct 9.

“These are ‘short stories’ to which I think millions around the world can relate,” Flores said of the forthcoming project. “The game, for me and others, has been an escape, a chance to pretend, feel safe, learn, love, lose and even despair.”

“It has an obsessive quality to it, whether one is a player as great as [Michael] Jordan or LeBron, a fan, a park player, a team member- and to me, ‘obsession’ is form of love, so in a real sense each of these stories touches upon that feeling.”

However, Jordan will not be featured on the project, instead, the documentary will feature interviews with Shaquille O’Neal, Allen Iverson, Kristaps Prorzingis and more.
