42 Dugg is putting Detroit sneaker collectors on notice after showing off what he says is a $1 million sneaker collection. In a new Instagram video making the rounds online, the Detroit rapper gives viewers a look at a room packed with sneakers while declaring that his collection is the hardest in the city.

And there are enough shoes in the frame to make people start pausing the video.Rows of sneakers appear stacked across the room, with everything from colorful low-tops to recognizable Jordan silhouettes competing for space. Among the shoes visible in the footage appear to be multiple Air Jordan Retro models, including pairs with design elements consistent with the Air Jordan 4, Air Jordan 5, and Air Jordan 6. Because several shoes are partially obstructed and the circulating footage is relatively low-resolution, exact colorways are difficult to verify from the clip alone.
Still, Dugg’s sneaker habit isn’t exactly a new development.
Back in 2021, Complex followed him through Stadium Goods in New York, where his shopping trip included Supreme Air Force 1s, Nike Air Force 1 Black Skeletons, Off-White University Blues, Travis Scott collaborations, and Dunks. By the time he reached the register, Dugg had accumulated an $8,860.67 bill for more than a dozen sneakers and clothing items.
So, a room overflowing with sneakers tracks with a flex he’s been building for years.
Dugg is putting his own valuation on the closet, and the video itself does not provide an independent appraisal, inventory, or receipts establishing a seven-figure market value. Sneaker prices can also swing considerably depending on rarity, size, condition, and current resale demand.
What the footage does establish is volume. Shoes cover seemingly every available surface in the room, with high-end streetwear from brands such as Supreme also a part of his collection.
Dugg has also been spotted in some serious footwear outside this particular collection. His Instagram looks have previously included Nike’s Off-White Air Force 1 Mid collaboration, while another documented look featured a Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 Mid.
And the spending isn’t limited to sneakers. GQ previously featured Dugg showing off his jewelry collection, including a $20,000 Scooby-Doo pendant and multiple watches and chains. In 2022, he made headlines after declaring that he spent $1 million during just one Amiri shopping spree.
Now he’s bringing that same energy to the shoe room.
