Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, 50 Cent wrote, “Diddy beat the Feds, that boy a bad man!” He paired the message with clapping emojis and an AI-generated image of himself grinning, a post that had fans doing double-takes. He also added, “He like the gay John Gotti,” a sharp comparison to the infamous mobster known for temporarily dodging federal racketeering charges before a later conviction.
The rap mogul’s reaction follows a federal court’s decision to acquit Diddy, 55, on sex trafficking and racketeering charges. This moment of uncharacteristic praise comes after months of relentless trolling. 50 previously posted headlines about lubricant found during raids on Diddy’s LA and Miami homes. He even mocked testimony from Diddy’s ex, Cassie Ventura, about an alleged baby-oil pool incident, sharing AI images of Diddy riding an inflatable duck.
Cassie, who first filed her explosive lawsuit in 2023, reacted to the recent verdict through her attorney, saying she was “in a good place.”
As for 50, he may have clapped for Diddy’s legal escape this time, but he clearly isn’t ready to let go of the jabs just yet.
