50 Cent wasted no time reacting to news that Sean “Diddy” Combs has been transferred to another federal prison. As details of the move surfaced Friday, October 16, the rapper jumped on Instagram to troll his longtime rival once again.
50 shared a headline announcing the transfer alongside an animated clip depicting Diddy and added his own commentary.
“Diddy on the move, he gonna turn up in this next joint on gang!”
While 50 Cent found humor in the situation, the prison transfer comes after weeks of controversy surrounding Diddy’s incarceration, including reported disciplinary violations, allegations of special treatment, and a recent medical emergency.
Diddy was transferred from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey to FCI Allenwood Low in Allenwood, Pennsylvania, on October 16, 2026. The new institution is a low security federal facility located south of Williamsport.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed the transfer but declined to reveal the specific reason behind the decision, citing privacy, safety, and security concerns.
However, the timing has drawn attention to Diddy’s recent problems at Fort Dix.
In September, NBC News published an investigation featuring accounts from four inmates who alleged that the Bad Boy Records founder had been receiving privileges unavailable to most prisoners.
Those allegations included access to a contraband cellphone, alcohol, special meals, and massages. Inmates also claimed other prisoners were handling his laundry, cleaning and cooking.
Diddy’s representatives have pushed back against the portrayal of his prison experience. Nevertheless, according to the Associated Press, he was subsequently placed in a special housing unit, an area used for disciplinary or security reasons.
The Associated Press also reported that Diddy lost 41 days of good conduct credit, pushing his projected release date back to March 2, 2028.
His troubles reportedly continued on October 10, when he was taken to a hospital for treatment of a head injury.
Diddy was transported from Fort Dix by ambulance and returned later that day. The injury was reportedly not life-threatening.
Although TMZ subsequently claimed the injury resulted from a confrontation with another inmate, the Bureau of Prisons explicitly denied that account, according to the Associated Press.
Despite the disciplinary reports and medical concerns, officials have not confirmed whether either situation directly contributed to Diddy’s transfer.
Meanwhile, 50 Cent has continued making his rival’s prison experience a recurring topic of conversation.
50 recently appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” where he joked about allegations that Diddy had access to an unauthorized tablet behind bars. He also made light of reports involving Diddy’s head injury.
The trolling follows 50’s work as an executive producer on Netflix’s “Sean Combs: The Reckoning,” a documentary series examining Diddy’s career and controversies.
Diddy is currently serving a 50-month federal prison sentence after his July 2025 conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted of the more serious federal racketeering and sex trafficking charges.
His attorneys have appealed the conviction and sentence, and the Associated Press reports that the federal appeals court has not yet issued a decision.
For 50 Cent, the latest transfer has provided yet another opportunity to take a public shot at Diddy. While the official reason for the move remains undisclosed, one thing appears unlikely to change anytime soon: 50 finding something to say whenever another Diddy headline makes the rounds.
