The long running back and forth between 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather Jr. flared up again this week on Instagram, and this time Mayweather’s ex Bad Medina got pulled into it.
It started when a commenter praised Mayweather’s current girlfriend for being pregnant by the boxer. Bad Medina replied that she would rather have a husband than a baby and said she chose to leave the relationship. 50 Cent then posted a joke at Mayweather’s expense about the situation. Bad Medina responded in the comments that she did not appreciate the way 50 described her. 50 answered that he is not Mayweather and said he would not have tried to buy her affection.
Mayweather replied with an edited 50 Cent album cover and a very long caption. He claimed 50 is jealous of other entertainers, criticized the state of his music career, and brought up the rapper’s 2015 bankruptcy filing, which is a matter of public record. He also made personal claims about 50’s family and health that Baller Alert has not verified and is not repeating here.
50 Cent fired back on Instagram, saying he would start going through Mayweather’s history in order. He pointed to what he called 11 domestic violence cases. That figure is 50’s claim and has not been independently confirmed. Mayweather served a jail sentence in 2012 after pleading guilty to misdemeanor domestic violence charges, which was widely reported at the time.
Everything above comes from public social media posts by the people involved, and the personal claims they made about each other were not confirmed by any third party. The two have a history of public disagreements and friendly stretches in between.
Do you think 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather will squash it again, or is this the last straw?
