A longtime insider is stepping forward with explosive claims against 50 Cent, real name is Curtis Jackson, turning what used to be a business relationship into a full-blown legal war.

Monique Mayers, a former executive who spent over a decade working across 50 Cent’s companies, has filed a federal lawsuit in Georgia accusing the rapper of retaliation, harassment, and intimidation after she allegedly refused to participate in illegal activity. According to the complaint, Mayers claims she was terminated in 2019 for not engaging in misconduct that included bankruptcy fraud and lying to law enforcement.

“Jackson ran his workplace the same way he built his public persona: through fear, humiliation, loyalty tests, and punishment,” her attorneys wrote. “Ms. Mayers would not lie to police. She would not frame another person. She would not risk federal charges or prison to protect Jackson’s secrets.”

The lawsuit paints a picture of what Mayers describes as a prolonged campaign of pressure following her termination. She alleges receiving more than 80 threatening calls and messages over several years. “The message was unmistakable: Protect Jackson’s secrets or … suffer the consequences,” the filing states.

Mayers also claims she was later pulled into investigations tied to business dealings, including matters involving Sire Spirits, and says she faced intimidation during legal proceedings.

On the other side, 50 Cent’s legal team is rejecting every allegation. His attorney, Reena Jain, called the lawsuit “baseless” and “a stunt to garner media attention,” adding that Mayers is “a disgruntled former employee who was terminated for cause.” Jain also stated they expect the case to be dismissed.

The suit includes claims of emotional distress and invasion of privacy, with Mayers seeking damages and punitive penalties.

Now, the case heads to court, where both sides are preparing for a fight that could pull years of behind-the-scenes business into the spotlight.
