50 Cent is making another power move, and this time he is taking over Times Square in a major way with a $100 million deal to build a celebrity-driven mega venue designed to bring nightlife, culture, and entertainment under one roof.
The Queens native has teamed up with Planet Hollywood boss Robert Earl to launch PH Live inside the brand’s flagship New York City location. The concept is not just another club, because the space is built to host everything from surprise performances to movie premieres and high-profile private events. So whether it is music, film, or sports, the venue is designed to keep energy high and unpredictable.
“Planet Hollywood has always been connected to pop culture, and PH Live takes that energy to the next level,” 50 Cent said in a statement.
The venue will feature advanced LED technology that transforms the space depending on the event, while also serving 50’s personal favorite dishes like sweet chili shrimp, steak with mac and cheese, and a signature burger with a secret sauce. Fans will also get a look at memorabilia from his film and TV career, so the experience feels personal.
This deal builds on his existing partnership with Planet Hollywood, and expansion plans are already being discussed for other cities, including Louisiana.
